OSP: Kuna father, son busted in Oregon with 11 pounds of pot | Crime

A father and son from Kuna have been arrested in Oregon after authorities say they found about 11 pounds of pot inside their vehicle.
Oregon State Police says on Friday an OSP sergeant stopped a rented Chevrolet Malibu for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk in Burns, Ore. The driver, Kirk Yerton, 48, was accompanied by his 23-year old son, Kody Yerton.
During the traffic stop, OSP says Kirk Yerton placed a small amount of methamphetamine on the ground. He was taken into custody for unlawful possession of meth and tampering with evidence. Officials later found 11 pounds of pot inside the vehicle with the help of a K9. The marijuana has a value of about $27,500.
OSP says Kirk Yerton also received a felony charge on the marijuna. Kody is also facing an unlawfyl delivery and possession of marijuana charge.
